FOLLOWING two burglaries in Marlborough over the weekend police officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen either of the incidents.
In the early hours of Sunday (August 14) morning, between 1.45am and 2.10am, Mercers Café and the Dogs Trust in Hilliers Yard had the front doors damaged and cash stolen from inside.
PC Jamie Brown said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the Hilliers Yard area in the early hours of Sunday morning.
"In particular, we are keen to hear from anyone who saw a man with a bald head wearing a light hooded jumper in the area around this time.
"We are carrying out a thorough investigation into these two incidents and have increased patrols in the area. "
