A MARLBOROUGH woman will appear at Swindon Crown Court facing seven charges of supplying drugs, handling stolen goods and possessing criminal property.

Tessa Emble Twisk, 41, was arrested by police on December 3 in Devizes, along with friend Paul Cummings, on suspicion of possessing class A and B drugs, having £12,000 that was not theirs and handling a stolen Vauxhall Combo van.

Twisk, whose address was given in court as Webbs Way, Burbage, pleaded not guilty to the charges on Thursday at North West Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court in Chippenham.

Prosecutor James Burnham said the case involved frontline dealing of cocaine, methylamphetamine, ketamine, amphetamines and cannabis.

He said it should be sent to the crown court as it was not something for the magistrates to deal with, especially with the amount of money involved.

Twisk will appear at Swindon Crown Court on February 19.
