POLICE have named the 97-year-old driver from Upavon who died in a car crash at Netheravon earlier this week.
She has been formally identified as Helen Walker-Brown, of Jarvis Street in Upavon.
Mrs Walker-Brown was driving a red Fiat Punto when it was in collision with another vehicle near the junction of Pigott Close on Tuesday at around 1.15pm.
She sadly died at the scene.
No one else was injured in the collision and an investigation into the cause of the incident is on-going.
A post mortem examination will now be carried out and a file will be prepared for H M Coroner for Wiltshire.
PC Philip Tatem said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mrs Walker-Brown at this very sad time."
