SINGER Bo Bruce has announced her engagement to Zero 7 musician Henry Binns.

The Voice UK finalist took to social media on Thursday to share the happy news with her thousands of fans.

The couple first met when Mr Binns, 44, worked as a producer on her album. She has also previously credited him for helping her to cope with the death of her mother to cancer, the Countess of Cardigan, in 2012.

"I get to wake up next to my very best friend and wingman for the rest of my life," she told the Daily Mail. "We couldn’t be happier."

The 30-year-old, formally known as Lady Catherine Anna Brudenell-Bruce, grew up in Marlborough at her 4,500-acre family estate in Savernake and attended Marlborough College. She is estranged from her father Lord Cardigan and since appearing on the BBC singing competition has been worked on her singing career.

Her debut album Before I sleep charted at number 10 on the Official UK Top 40 Album Chart in 2013.
