MARLBOROUGH Open Studios 2015 has got off to a flying start this weekend with more than 60 artists at 40 locations opening up their workshops to members of the public.
It continues all this month with one of the most usual workshops being that of fine art photographer Hilary Stock.
She is exhibiting her work in her studio called ‘The Bike shed’, a former wood hut at Farm Lane in Great Bedwyn.
Mrs Stock and her husband Jon have spent the past month clearing out years of rubbish and sawdust to transform it into a small gallery.
The mum-of-three, who gets inspiration for her pictures from the idyllic Cornwall scenery, was a BBC Radio 4 producer before she turned her hand to a career in art and will be speaking to visitors about her photography techniques and inspiration from 11am-5pm for the next two weekends.
For more information call Mrs Stock on: 07867688740 or email hilary.stock@btinternet.com.
