BUDDING artist Jemma Eike beat youngsters from around the country to win a drawing competition.

The competition was run by Hamptons International to mark the estate agency’s partnership with DreamWork’s Animations HOME – a film about a loveable a misfit from another planet who lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people.

As part of the campaign, local primary schools and children’s after-school activity clubs were encouraged to create their own motion picture by entering the Draw Your Perfect Home competition.

The competition entries were featured in the window of the branch and visitors to the branch were invited to cast a vote to choose their favourite drawing.

Winner six-year-old Jemma Eike from Preshute School was awarded a HOME animation goodie bag which included tickets for her family to see the film.

She also won the prize drew to have her bedroom decorated in the style of HOME, complete with the expert help of an interior designer, decorator and £1,000 to spend on soft furnishings and materials.

Rupert Lawson Johnston, manager at Marlborough Hamptons International said: “The “Draw Your Perfect Home” competition has proved to be a real blockbuster hit within our local community.

“All of the entries took centre stage in our branch window and developed a fan base of their own as people 2stopped to admire our very own picturehouse.

Jemma captured us with her entry and we are delighted to be handing Jemma the winning gong.”
