Photographer Nicki Douglas-Lee is raffling off one of her creations to raise money for the racehorse charity Greatwood.
Ms Douglas-Lee, based in Devizes, was commissioned to take a photo of Samantha Fulcher and her horses Jake and Cadan.
A couple of months after the photo was taken, Jake, who went by the race name Simply Blue, had to be put down after a freak accident in his stable.
Ms Douglas-Lee said: “As a gesture to my client Sam ordered a canvas of one of my favourite pictures from the collection.
“The printing company mixed the sizes up and completed the order in inches rather than centimetres.
“After speaking with Sam I put the idea to her that I would raise funds for a charity nominated by her.”
The raffle for the a 46 by 30 inch signed canvas will be drawn at 10am on March 21 at Greatwood at Rainscombe Hill Farm, Clench Common, near Marlborough.
Tickets cost £10 via paypal, nicki.douglaslee@gmail.com or from The Churchill Arms in West Lavington.
