A POPULAR Marlborough restaurant is opening its doors once again for one day only in support of the Prospect Hospice Savernake Appeal.

Moran’s Espresso, in London Road, closed its doors in July but owners Della and Stephen Moran have decided to host the one-day opening for the appeal.

Mrs Moran said: “We had a Freddie Flintoff signed shirt donated that we are silent auctioning and we are looking for bids in excess of £25.

“Loads of wonderful prizes have been donated for the raffle and so many local bakers are cooking up delights to be sold so please come and join us.”

The couple will be serving coffee, cakes and savoury muffins on December 20 between 9am to 3pm.

As well as popping in for a bite to eat, residents can get involved with the day by baking and donating a cake or donating a prize to the raffle.
