KENNET Valley Arts Trust has welcomed its 5,000th audience member since launching the Marlborough Downs Movies series four years ago.
Landmark visitor Adam Lee, of Marlborough, who attended a screening of Belle on October 30, was given two free tickets and glasses of wine.
He said: “I’m a regular attendee of both the films and the fantastic screenings of top-class performances from major venues and I think KVAT should be applauded for all they’ve done to bring arts and entertainment to Marlborough.”
The trust invested in blackouts, sound, screen and projection equipment at the Town Hall for twice-monthly screenings, as well as showing family films St John’s Theatre on The Hill.
