A motorcyclist caused damage to Ogbourne Downs Golf Club when they drove across a green.
The bike gained access overnight on Friday via a hole in the fence. PC David Tippets from Marlborough police said: “There have been other cases this week where drivers have been given fixed penalty notices for driving on farmers’ land.
“People don’t realise it’s an offence and is trespass. Driving anywhere other than a highway is a fixed penalty notice and a £50 fine if so anyone is caught that is what will happen.”
