Banks of the River Kennet have been restored by a team of Preshute parishioners led by Anna Forbes.
The banks of the River Kennet in the parish of St George’s, on the western edge of Marlborough, had become eroded.
And the Rev Miriam Keen, the new team vicar of St George’s, was one of those to roll up her sleeves to help Action for the River Kennet team with their conservation work.
Refreshments were also provided by St George’s.
