Woman mugged for purse

POLICE are hunting a man who attacked a middle-aged woman and stole her purse.
The mugging happened at 6.15p.m. on June 7 when the 55 year old woman was walking down the High Street, Malmesbury, holding her purse in her right hand, having just withdrawn money from a nearby Cashpoint.
The man approached her from behind, punched her right hand,causing her to drop her purse, which he then ran off with.
The purse contained the cash of about £170 and store cards.
The attacker is described as white, 30 years of age, 5'8" tall, stocky build, dark complexion, and a few days growth of stubble.
He got away in a new silver hatchback car.
