AN old bank is being transformed into a coffee shop in Malmesbury later this year.
The former HSBC branch on the High Street is expected to become a Coffee#1 by the end of May.
Coffee#1 is a fast-growing chain of coffee houses in Wales, the South West, the South Coast and West Midlands. Advertisements have been placed for a management role and team leader role at the new Malmesbury branch.
The opening of a chain coffee shop has split residents opinion on social media with some arguing the High Street is now inundated with cafes. Some believe it is a welcome asset to the town, while others argue it will but a strain on independent businesses in the town.
