Staff at a beauty salon in Malmesbury are celebrating after raising hundreds of pounds for charity last month.
Perfection Spa, a beauty salon, perfection skin and beauty clinic raised an amazing £565 for Macmillan when they closed the salon early and invited local residents and new and existing customers to relax and enjoy an evening of complimentary treatments, demonstrations, homemade canapés, mulled wine and Christmas cheer.
The Spa team held a quiz and raffle, with prizes generously donated by local businesses including Dyson, PD Fitness, The Vine Tree Inn and The Potting Shed.
Salon owner Michelle Stead, whose mother was diagnosed with an aggressive from of breast cancer in 2012, said: "We didn't realise the night was going to be so busy and we are absolutely delighted to have raised £565 for a charity close to our heart, we cannot thank everyone enough. The support offered to Mum and my family was incredible. I cannot thank the professionals and everyone involved enough, this is the least we can do to say thank you."
