BARGAIN hunters will be able to sniff out some Christmas presents as the Sue Ryder shop in Malmesbury is set to reopen following a number of structural repairs.

The much loved Grade II listed shop, based on The Gant, will reopen with a brand new team on Thursday, November 17 at 9am with new stock and refreshments available.

Helen Reynolds, Sue Ryder retail area manager, said: "We are so pleased to reopen our shop in Malmesbury this Thursday and welcome old and new customers. We will offer an excellent shopping experience, whether you’re looking for clothes, books, music, DVDs – or a Christmas gift for someone special."

Shop manager Alison Baker and assistant shop manager Marie Leggatt will be on hand to answer any questions about the refurbishment and to encourage Malmesbury residents to volunteer their time to be part of the team.

"We are recruiting volunteers to help with everything from sorting and preparing stock to merchandising and sales," Ms Baker said. "We are also appealing for people to donate good quality clothing, books and homeware, and in particular menswear and accessories."

Anyone who wants to join the volunteer team should contact the shop on 01666 824956 or malmesbury4050@sueryder.org.
