The 10th year of Fieldview Festival promises to offer the very best of the UK's independent and grassroots music.

More than 3,000 people are expected to attended the four-day event at Little Somerford which will see more than 80 artists and DJ's play on 6 stages with Submotion Orchestra and Melt Yourself down headlining.

Festival co-founder James Cameron said: "Fieldview is back for it's tenth birthday and we have a real treat of a line up. We have Spring King and Youngr. Spring King have been on Jools Holland and all over NME and Radio 1. Youngr has just signed with Island Records and is making a huge splash online. Our Friday headliner is the epic jazz dub two steps of Submotion Orchestra who first played Fieldview in 2011.

"Our highlights will be opening for our tenth year as a not for profit volunteer organisation and seeing all the fancy dress that will be on parade."

Fieldview has a reputation for hosting up and coming artists that are destined for bigger stages in the future and this year is no exception, with local bands from across Wiltshire also given the chance to share their vibes with the audience who will be embarking on a cosmic journey with this year's magic theme.

The festival has raised more than £24,000 for local and international charities since its inception and has become a key festival for music fans of all ages from the South West and the UK.

Co-founder Dan Cameron said: “We just try and programme the best quality music we can. We want to surprise people. We don`t want to select just one genre or style; we want people to discover their new favourite band or try a workshop they would never normally come into contact with.”

The family run festival also prides itself on helping the environment and supporting the local economy, with food sourced locally and encouraging a strong eco-friendly ethos.
