School children from Crudwell CE Primary School shared a tea and cake with members of their community who had memories of the Queen as a young woman.
The event, which was organised to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, saw more than 40 guests attend the party and the students listened to their stories.
The guests were served refreshments by students aged 6 to 11 and were also entertained by the school choir.
Headteacher Kathrine Hume said: "What a party it was! Around 45 members of our community who remember the Queen as a child and young woman joined us for our Tea for a Queen celebration - enjoying sandwiches, scones, celebration fruit cake and copious amounts of tea.
At the end of the afternoon, the whole school joined the guests and parents in singing Happy Birthday and the national anthem and John Wiggins, a former pupil gave three cheers for Her Majesty.
The children also presented their female guests with posies made by year 1 and year 2 children using flowers from the school garden.

Crudwell CE Primary school also thanked the Lord Lucas Trust who met the cost of giving every child a commemorative coin, creating an event that both young and old will remember.
Elsewhere in the area, Cross Hayes Pre-School's summer fete and Malmesbury Town Council held Queen's birthday celebrations in the town hall.
