E-fit of the Malmesburry suspect
POLICE have released an e-fit of a man following an assault in Malmesbury.
A 57-year-old man was confronted by the suspect who struck him around the face and grabbed him by the neck at about 7.10pm on February 1 in Gloucester Road.
The victim sustained pain to his cheek but did not require hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as a white man, believed to be in his thirties, approximately 5ft 10in tall and of medium build. He had short dark hair and was wearing black thick-rimmed glasses and dark clothing.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or saw anything suspicious at the time of the offence should call PC Rob Wilson on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
