CHILDREN at Seagry School were given the chance to be creative with their Travelling Along With Me project.
The theme for the term at the school has been travelling and the children were given a timeline of transport history.
They were then given the task of creating a mode of transport with their models displayed in the school’s own museum of transport.
Gillian Cowen, 56, of Chippenham, assistant head teacher, said: “All of the models were interesting. The museum of transport display was really good.
"We had things ranging from a model submarine one girl had made with her mother all the way to a hoverboard made out of gingerbread.
“Because the children were making models there were so many different types of transport. The gingerbread one wasn’t the only model that was edible because one child made their model entirely out of cake.
“We took the children to Swindon Steam Transport Museum. Parents were invited to look at our own version of the transport museum which was really fun.
"All the children were inventive and I was very impressed.”
