Former England cricketer Paul Jarvis and wife Caroline outside The Angel in Sherston, which they have now opened as a tearoom
EX-England and Yorkshire cricketer Paul Jarvis and wife Caroline have transformed a historic pub in to a tearoom in Sherston.
They launched Sherston Tearooms at the site of The Angel on Tuesday, offering bacon and sausages from their meat production company Sherston Rare Breeds.
Mr Jarvis and his wife also plan to open The Angel Bed and Breakfast in the next fortnight in addition to their tearooms.
Mrs Jarvis said: “It has taken us the best part of a year to get ready but it’s finally here.”
The tearooms, which are decorated with candles and a fireplace, employ 10 staff.
The new tearooms and B&B will have a website, www.sherstonangel.co.uk
