A crafty trio from Malmesbury are ‘sew’ excited at plans to open their studio and workshop.
Tracey Piper, Catherine Aldridge and Denise Humphries are launching a one-stop shop for crafts, sewing services and creative parties.
Dolly Bobbins will open on Saturday, October 12, at 9.15am at Unit 7, Cranmore House, behind Marmalade Market.
Mother-of-two Ms Piper, 49, of Bristol Road, who is known locally for her Abbey Shabby creations, said: “It will offer a mixture of classes and workshops in knitting, crochet, sewing and crafts.
“We are also doing a sewing service with mending, alterations and curtain making, as well as selling craft supplies.
“Usually it (knitting and sewing) is a pastime that you do on your own, and all of a sudden people are out doing it together and chatting.”
The trio are also involved in the Chicks with Sticks knitting class at Jackdaws on a Tuesday from 10am to midday. This will continue with another class held at Dolly Bobbins from 7-9pm on a Wednesday.
