Learn about Devizes civil war

Wiltshire Heritage Museum will be marking the siege of Devizes and Battle of Roundway with two events.
Tonight at 7.30pm there will be a lecture at Devizes Town Hall on the conflicts by military historian Robin Hodges and on Sunday the museum is holding a family day for people to have a hands-on experience and learn more about the civil war that was raging in 1643.
The lecture costs £8, while the family day is free for children and £4 for adults. It runs from 11am to 4pm and activities include a re-enactment by Civil War soldiers from the Sealed Knot and craft activities.
