Biker fighting for life after crash

A MOTORCYCLE rider is fighting for his life at the Royal United Hospital in Bath after a serious crash on the A342 at Lydeway, near Devizes.

The black Honda motorbike was in collision with a red pickup truck shortly after 11am on Monday morning. It is thought the motorbike, heading towards Rushall, was turning right when the collision took place.

The motorcyclist, who has not been named, was airlifted to the Royal United Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
