Heartbroken Tania Genever is offering a reward for information about her rare Bengal cat which she fears was stolen.
Ms Genever, 33, of Drakes Avenue, Devizes, her two-year-old daughter Sophie and their dachshund Snoopy are all missing Misty, who disappeared four weeks ago.
Bengal cats are one of the rarest breeds and a kitten can cost up to £700.
Ms Genever said: "They are not ordinary domestic cats. They have been bred from Asian leopards and make a very strange noise like a wild animal.
"Misty was a real character and I am getting more and more worried about him. I have had him for ten years since he was a kitten and miss him terribly.
"Our dog used to sleep in the same basket and he is now very unsettled and keeps looking for the cat."
Sophie too cannot understand why Misty is no longer there for her to play with.
Ms Genever, who works for Dyson in Malmesbury, is convinced the cat has been taken.
"I have reported it to the police but they do not seem to be able to do very much about it.
"He went missing a couple of months ago.
"When he turned up that time he had a shaven bit on his leg as if someone had taken him to the vet."
She is now offering a reward for information that might lead to Misty's return.
Anyone with information can contact her on (01380) 721040.
