FOOTBALL fan Elsie, five, has become the face of Bristol Rovers after staring in an advert promoting the League One football team.

The Nursteed School pupil from Devizes was at a match with her grandad when she was approached by the advertising team at the club who wanted to use a genuine fan in their new campaign.

The whole family, including Elsie’s grandad were treated to watch a game from the club’s hospitality suite as a thank you for being involved in the feel good advert, which shows Elsie patiently collecting game programmes as she waits to go to the grounds and watch the football match by using the programmes to see over the stands.

Father Matthew Hulland, of Forty Acres Road, said: “She was really excited to take part and she seemed very confident and happy in front of the camera. They wanted a real fan to be involved. It was all shot inside our own home as well so that it looked as natural as possible. Her brother Reece was also involved.” The advert 'Step Up' has been viewed 3400 times online.
