A SENIOR school is hoping its own former students will help inspire present day pupils to academic success and career confidence.
Lavington School, near Devizes, wants to contact former students in established careers and recent leavers in further education to join an alumni group.
It is one of 900 state schools in the UK to work with the education charity Future First to form an old school network.
Assistant head Lisa Adams said “We signed up to Future First’s scheme straightaway. A network of past pupils with all their valuable experience will be vital in helping us to broaden current pupils’ jobs horizons and equip them for the world of work.” Email l.Adams@lavington.wilts.sch.uk
