A Boy George tribute act and a synth-pop covers band are set to share the stage at a newly launched nightclub in Devizes later this month.

They are coming together at Exchange Nightclub, which opened at the end of August, to perform a special show dedicated to all New Romantics, Blitz Kids and lovers of 80s New Wave music.

The synth-pop duo BINOMIAL, comprised of singer/songwriter Paul Dodson and BBC Introducing electro/dance artist ALR (A.K.A. Andy Randle), are known for their polished performances of classic 80s synth-pop. BINOMIAL have original arrangements and extended versions of songs by several famous electronic artists including by the Pet Shop Boys, Soft Cell, OMD, Depeche Mode, Erasure and The Human League.

Their shows are very popular with audiences and the band have packed out UK venues. The duo also played in Chippenham earlier this month.

BINOMIAL will be joined by Keith George alias 'The Boy George Experience' – a top international tribute act covering Culture Club classics and Boy George hits. Keith George is an award-winning celebrity impersonator and has had successful tours in Australia, Ireland, South Africa, Italy, Germany and the UK.

The night is set to be a mixture of Culture Club and Boy George classics as well as 80s electro/dance anthems and ‘tainted’ love songs.

The show takes place at Exchange Nightclub in Devizes next Friday on September 29, with doors opening at 8pm and the show starting at 9pm.

Advance tickets for £10 are available from Light and Sound or Devizes Books, Sidmouth Street, Devizes or online from http://www.wegottickets.com/event/409739. Tickets on the door are £13.
