DEVIZES man Simon Guerrero who was found to have numerous images of child abuse has been released on bail by a judge.
Guerrero downloaded the vile material from the internet between May 2001 and July 2105.
Although the 47-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charges a jury at Swindon Crown Court convicted him following a trial.
Guerrero, of Bowes Court, Thomas Wyatt Road, Devizes, pleaded had denied eight counts of making indecent images of children.
But he was found guilty of all the charges after a jury did not believe his story that he had not made the material.
He now has to register as a sex offender with the total time he remains doing do determined by the sentence he receives.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to a date to be fixed and released him on bail until then.
