MEMBERS of two flower clubs made the day of a number of strangers when they took to the streets to leave Lonely Bouquets.
Both Burbage and Devizes Flower Clubs took part in the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies event to celebrate national flower arranging day.
Members left flowers on benches, door steps, in bus shelters, on post boxes and other public places to brighten up people's day. Between the two clubs more than 50 bouquets were distributed between Burbage, Pewsey, Grafton, Great Bedwyn, Wilton, Marlborough, Devizes, Upavon and Melksham.
A spokesman said: "We have had lots of thank you messages and many calls and posts on Facebook from people thanking us for making their day."
