AN episode of Salvage Hunters featuring the collection of vintage car fan Tim Martin, who died last year, was due to be shown on TV yesterday (Wed) evening and will be repeated in coming days.

Drew Pritchard from the Quest programme was allowed to sort through Mr Martin's incredible collection of all things motorised before it was taken away to be catalogued by auctioneer Richard Edmonds in Chippenham.

Most of the items will come under the hammer in Allington, near Chippenham from March 2 to 4 but viewers will able to have an insight into the life of Mr Martin, who ran his business from Bratton, in the Salvage Hunters episode.

Wednesday's nights episode is the 100th of Salvage Hunters and Mr Martin's daughter Nadine was delighted her father's collection would feature in such a landmark screening.
