THERE will be plenty to shout about when Devizes much loved breakfast with Santa is staged at the fire station on December 17.

Watch manager Richard Lake brought the popular event back last year after a break of a year and was rewarded with more than 130 children enjoying the morning and raised about £1,000 for the Firefighters Charity.

He said: "I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it again this year but so many people wanted it to happen that we had to go ahead."

The breakfast with Santa event helped Devizes Fire Station win a Heart of the Community award in 2014 from the former Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service. At that time the station had held the festive morning for 18 years.

This year there will be two sittings at 8.30am and 10am with tickets costing £5 per child. It includes a cooked breakfast, a visit with Santa and a look around the fire station. To book a place contact Mr Lake on 07837573792 or Mike Cleaver on 07530103255.
