SCHOOLS across Wiltshire are getting ready for this year's Devizes Eisteddfod.
The music event will take place on November 11 and 12 and for the first time the eisteddfod will also incorporate the Devizes Festival of Dance which will be held on November 13 at Lavington School.
Scores of children will compete in a wide range of singing and instrument classes at venues across the town and there will also be public speaking, writing and poetry.
Concerts that will showcase the best performances will take place on November 26.
