An ambulance on call
Police and ambulance crews were called to Horton Road, Devizes this afternoon after a young boy was injured after he was knocked by a car. The incident is now over and the road is clear. The boy has been taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be too serious.
A police spokesman said: "We received a call shortly before 3.30pm today to a report of a 2-year-old child being hit by an Audi A3 in Horton Road, Devizes. The child is believed to have sustained minor injuries."
