THE A361 was closed for nearly three hours yesterday after a two car crash at Bishops Cannings, near Devizes.
Two men were taken to hospital following the accident and drivers were warned to avoid the area.
Wiltshire Police said they received a call at 1.07pm to the accident at Shepherds Shore, Bishops Cannings.
The two cars, a Mitzubishi and a Lexus, collided and both drivers sustained injuries. The driver of the Lexus suffered from a broken leg and was airlifted to hospital while the driver of the Mitzubishi sustained whiplash and a leg injury.
Fire service spokesman said they had been called to the scene just after 2pm after one of the cars caught fire. Two fire crews, one from Devizes and one from Marlborough, dealt with the accident.
