BIKERS, who have been raising money for good causes in and around Devizes for more than 30 years, have made a donation to a home that provides respite care for adults.
Members of the Moonrakers Club rode up to Bradbury Manor in Nursteed Road to present a cheque for £250 to the home that looks after up to ten people with learning disabilities.
Moonraker member Vicki Marsh said: "They do an amazing job for the community and we wanted to help. Moonrakers is a local group that have donated well over £25,000.00 over 30 plus years to local charities.
"We raise the money for charities by holding an annual party for other groups across the country to attend. We run a raffle and other events at the party, any profits made are donated to a local charity or charities that are proposed and voted on by all in Moonrakers.
"We as a group feel it is important to put back in to the community where we can, and this year we have decided to donate £250 to Bradbury Manor."
The home provides planned and emergency short term care.
