A Devizes dance school celebrated its tenth anniversary with a wide mix of routines at the Arc Theatre, Trowbridge.

Around 110 students from the Centre Stage Academy of Dance gave three performances which included ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and musical theatre routines.

Principal Charlotte Boulton said: "Daisy Parsons and Florence Boardman shared the role of Annie and Isobel Parmenter-Young and Zoe Elsden sang beautifully as Jasmine and Aladdin. The Intermediate Ballet group delivered a mesmerising performance of Swan Lake with Charlotte Hatcher as the Black Swan.

"I am incredibly proud of all our dancers who delivered three flawless performances with such maturity and professionalism. The buzz backstage was infectious and laughter could be heard throughout the corridors.

"I was over whelmed by the comments that came flooding in minutes after each performance. The weekend has incredible memories for all involved. The past 10 years have been such a wonderful adventure and I look forward to seeing the academy flourish further in the future."

The dance school offers dance and theatre classes to more than 170 students in Devizes.

Senior student Kiera Joyce has been accepted to train at the world famous Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts starting in September 2016.
