DEVIZES Lions are preparing for a busy few weeks with its biggest fundraiser of the year taking place in the town centre on May 2.
Its traditional May Day fair will run from 9.30am to mid-afternoon with something for all the family.
But the first in the line up of its spring events is a concert on Saturday (23) with the DS Big Band playing 1940s music in the Corn Exchange from 7.30pm. The evening will also include songs from The Invitation Theatre Company. Money raised will go to Julia's House.
The week after the May fair the Lions will join forces with Devizes Rotary Club to hold a charity golf day at North Wilts Golf Club from noon. Money raised will go to Alzheimer's Support.
