The main A342 at Bromham was closed for nearly two hours yesterday afternoon after a car skidded and landed on its roof.
Emergency services were called at 11.37am to the single vehicle crash involving a dark grey Ranault Clio. A police spokesman said it was on its roof when police officers and paramedics arrived.
The spokesman said: "The driver was the only person in the car and was out of the vehicle and walking around when the emergency services arrived. He was treated at the scene for a small bump on his head.
"The road was closed while Wiltshire Council cleared some mud from the road and the vehicle was recovered. It was reopened at 1.30pm."
