Wadworth in Devizes is hoping it is on to a winner with an ale brewed especially for the Rugby World Cup.
In addition to the barrels of Dirty Rucker which are on their way to pubs and clubs 2,500 bottles of the brew will be exclusively available from the Wadworth visitor centre in Devizes either in the shop or on-line.
Wadworth product marketing manager Ellie Alderton said: "Dirty Rucker with its cheeky name and stand out pump clip is set to be THE beer of the Rugby World Cup and will be widely available.
"It’s a really thirst quenching beer with malty sweetness and peppery finish, and with an abv of 3.9% it will make for easy drinking throughout a match.”
Wadworth is also planning a series of promotions to give drinkers the chance to win some of the popular beer. A Twitter competition will run throughout the World Cup with a case of bottled Dirty Rucker to be won every week.
People should look out for the Wadworth tag @Wadworth to enter.
In 130 Wadworth pubs, fans will be able to enter a prize draw to win a Dirty Rucker rugby shirt, with a shirt to be won in each of the participating pubs.
