ALL the fun of Devizes International Street Festival will start at 11.30am on Sunday on The Green and finish at 6.30pm on Monday in the Market Place.

The two days of entertainment for all the family will include some of the best street performers, contemporary circus acts, dancers, musicians and walkabout shows from all over Europe.

Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts has promised something for all ages as larger than life acts come to town with the soul purpose of entertaining the crowds.

On Sunday the two greens will house a music stage and a number of different areas that will see acts performing from 11.45am to 8.30pm.

Artistic director Jo Beal thinks the Bullzini Family with the world premiere of Equilibrius will be the highlight of the day.

Chris Bull with his wife Phoebe will perform high wire acts starting at 2.15pm and again at 7.45pm. Mrs Beal said: "Two giant pylons face one another, offering platforms bridged by a fragile tensile wire. Eight metres from terra firma, fantastic feats of equilibrium will be performed with daredevil skills."

In addition to the acts in set areas there will also be walkabout groups including Ramshacklicious, Gobbledegook and Festive Road.

The music stage will host The Kevin Brown Trio, The Jolenes and Jon Amor.

On Monday the Market Place will be centre of the action but performances will also be held outside the town hall, in The Brittox and for the first time in Albion Place in Sidmouth Street.

From Italy there will be Tobia Circus, from Germany Boom Circus and from Holland Directie & Co who are made up of six fanatical laundry women who do dance, theatre and visual art.

The best of British will be represented by Artizani, Lempen Puppet Theatre and the chance to enter Apollo's lair with Dans La Poche - La Sibylle.

Mrs Beal said: "There is masses to enjoy for free an all shows are on at least twice so with a bit of planning you can see everything."

She asked that if people enjoyed themselves they might make a donation to the Chip-In-Campaign by putting cash in buckets that will be taken around by festival makers or by texting DOCA12(amount) to 70070.
