SIDMOUTH Street Festival got off to a flying start today with traders' stalls doing brisk business in the sunshine.
Mayor Roger Giraud-Saunders officially launched what is the first festival, aimed at encouraging shoppers to visit the street after a £40,000 revamp.
The street closed to traffic at 10am and the day includes a display of vintage cars, a performance by Devizes Town Band and Devizes School band.
Devizes Musical Theatre will entertain and music will continue throughout the afternoon and evening until 7.30pm.
Send your Sidmouth Street Festival pictures and videos to bclements@newswilts.co.uk and look out for coverage in your Gazette & Herald with pictures by Vicky Scipio on Thursday and online here.
