FLOWER arrangers in Devizes have given the Devizes Opportunity Centre a cheque for more than £1,000.
Before the Devizes Floral Arts Club’s AGM in March a cheque for £1500 was presented to Graham Gaiger on behalf of Devizes Opportunity Centre.
The money was raised from an open demonstration meeting held at Devizes School back in November along with other funds collected throughout the year.
Each year the 35-year-old group pick a charity to support and have previously raised funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Alzheimer’s Support.
The group currently have about 70 members and meet on the third Wednesday of each month in the Devizes Town Hall.
