TV star Sir Terry Wogan is in Devizes today filming for a new BBC food programme.
After enjoying breakfast in The Bear Hotel, Mr Wogan spent time filming around the Devizes market, visiting shops and greeting fans.
Sir Terry said: "We have loved Devizes. It is a great market town.
"We have seen plenty of hogs and we have had a great British breakfast in The Bear."
"We have been through Wiltshire and the things I will remember are the roundabouts and the traffic congestion."
The 76-year-old TV and radio star, filming for a new BBC2 programme, met market stall holder Ceri Cryer from Brinkworth Dairy.
Mrs Cryer, 35, said: "It's really exciting but I can't tell you anything about it.
"He was really lovely and its a fantastic opportunity to share with a wider audience the details of the fantastic produce a Brinkworth Dairy."
Many shoppers were amazed to see Mr Wogan who was happy to speak to fans between filming.
One such fan, Teresa Perry from Wroughton, said: "I could not believe it, I have never been to Devizes before.
"He was lovely, it's made my day. I'm not going to wash my hands for a week."
