THE visit by TV veteran Terry Wogan to Devizes is back on for next week but the BBC is unwilling to release the exact date.
A large crowd of Wogan fans turned out during filming for Great British Food Trip in another town and it took the production company Curve Media ages to clear the area and then get the sound levels right.
So now chef Peter Vaughan has been asked not to reveal exact details about the visit in a bid to let the filming go smoothly.
During the show Mr Vaughan, who runs The Bistro restaurant in the Little Brittox, will be selling traditional Devizes cheesecake from outside his business.
Wogan will stop and take an interest and Mr Vaughan will explain its origin. During the visit it is expected he will also visit other businesses in the town.
