A revised planning application for a gipsy site at Bromham has been submitted by consultants after talks with Wiltshire Council.
But Bromham Parish Council and many villagers are still opposed to the scheme to create a static home with a day room and space for a touring caravan, septic tank and parking.
The revised plan, which removes a bund around the site plus landscaping around the boundary fence and a change to the access point, means consultation on the scheme has been extended until February 25.
It is likely to be discussed at an eastern area planning committee in March or April.
