Youngsters from a village primary school near Devizes had the chance to sing with more than 7,000 other children at the O2 Arena in London.

Children from Dauntsey Academy Primary in West Lavington were part of the Young Voices Choir 2015 which became one of the biggest choirs in the world.

Teacher Susan Kerr said: “I was overwhelmingly proud of our choir, all of whom danced and sang their way through three hours of rehearsal then a two-and-a-half hour concert for parents and friends. I hope this has created a lifelong memory for all those who took part and who watched.”

She also thanked the parents who supported their children and made the trip to London. Money to help pay for the trip came from a cake stall which raised £70.
