Thirty years after Potterne Panto Group staged Snow White it is returning to the fairytale favourite to help celebrate three decades of entertaining.
Group chairman Jackie Sawyer said that although the theme of the pantomime will be the same as its first ever production the script has been changed.
Back in 1985 the pantomime was written by then village school headteacher Bob Watt and his wife Nicky was Snow White. This time around the part of Snow White will be played by Fiona Hyslop.
Mrs Sawyer said: “It was decided that this year’s theme would return to the Snow White tale, although the script will be entirely different and written by long-standing member Carole Ball and Nesta Pudney.”
The first performance is tomorrow night and the pantomime will run until Saturday evening, curtain-up at 7.30pm in the village hall. There is also a matinee on the Saturday. Tickets cost £6 for adults, £5 for seniors and £4 for children under 16.
