Pupils from Lavington School will be among those riding a bike to nowhere for 24 hours to raise money for Devizes charity Bag4Sport Foundation on February 7 and 8.
The youngsters will be in training for the real thing when they cycle from Devizes to Paris in August for the same charity, which helps grass roots sport.
The Lavington team will be one of about a dozen joining the charity’s annual spinathon at Route2Fitness gym on Hopton Industrial Estate, Devizes.
Teams, working as a relay, must keep their bike going for 24 hours from 9am on February 7.
Bag4Sport director Andy Trusler said: “We already have a number of teams signed up but we would like to hear from companies, schools, sports clubs and individuals who would like to take part.”
Teams pay for a bike and then can raise individual sponsorship to pay for the cost.
