Baking fans in Bromham will join a Great Bromham Bake Off on Saturday, organised by BBC Wiltshire to raise money for Children in Need.

It will be held in Bromham Social Centre from 9am-noon and organisers are looking for as many people as possible to get baking and donate a cake.

People can get involved with activities such as making bunting and decorating cupcakes. There will be a baking demonstration from Vaughan’s Kitchen in Devizes and the chance to hear about foraging for edible flowers and plants with Ginger Hall Produce.

Great British Bake Off 2014 contestant Enwezor Nzegwu will cycle about 80 miles from Portsmouth to Bromham to raise money and to judge the cakes. He has raised £1,080 so far on his trip for the charity.

Also in Bromham, children at St Nicholas Primary School will be paying £1 to go to school tomorrow dressed as a superhero along with holding a cake competition and bake sale.
