Devizes Town Council is urging people to have their say on the Devizes area neighbourhood plan following the importance given to it in the Coate Bridge decision.
Town councillor Judy Rose said: “The neighbourhood plan played a big part in the decision to dismiss the appeal and so hopefully that will make people realise how important it is to be involved.”
Wiltshire Council is consulting on the plans and people have until 5pm on November 27 to respond.
Following this consultation the comments received will be passed to an independent examiner, to be appointed by the council, who will consider the representations and determine if the plan should be put to a community referendum.
